" Many show business personalities don’t measure- up. If the fans found out how tall certain actors really were, well, let’s just say that the public would be under-whelmed.

The entertainers in Branson don’t use trick camera angles to fool their public. And they don’t have to rely on fluffed-up PR to puff-up their images. The people who visit Branson get to see all of the performers here up- close and personal.

If the real height of a Hollywood star is really hard to get straight, BRANSON REVIEWED! had no problem getting the facts and figures for one of the greatest of stars of Branson, Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge and Orlando. That high-steppin’ star is named Dixie Stampede.

FACTS IN FEET

A.128 feet: The number of horse hoofies you’ll see galloping and prancing throughout the performance.

B.2000 feet: The number of human-footage jammed-into each sold-out show.

C.35, 000 feet: the square-footage inside of the tricked-out Dixie Stampede arena.

D. At least 2 hands and a countless number of feats: The number of things you’ll be clapping together in response to the infinitely amazing accomplishments.

The Dixie Stampede was born out of singer/songwriter/entrepreneur Dolly Parton’s desire to recreate the fun and food-filled family functions of her youth. But unlike those knight-time arena shows that supposedly transport the audience back to a medieval era, Dolly does it just right. The races are real, the competition is intense, but the overall vibe is family-friendly.

The crowd had gathered an hour-or-so before show time on the evening BRANSON REVIEWED! peeked-in. There were pre-performance stable tours, pre-dinner snacks and a pre-show that helped set the stage for the fun to come. The arena divides the ticket-holders into two groups, with each side rooting-on their favorites. But no matter who wins which race, it is the entire audience that comes out on top every time.

So don’t get cold feet- trot-on down to the Dixie Stampede. The meal is served in four courses, and the show rates... FOUR-AND-A-HALF STARS
